Thoughts for a Monday morning:

Melo out? Will be relieved when the Denver Nuggets finally trade Carmelo Anthony and all the talk finally comes to an end. The guy doesn't want to play in Denver, so get him out of town already. Nuggets need to take what they can get and start building for the future because whether or not he's a New York Knick by the end of the day, Anthony won't be a Nugget for much longer.

Everyone's in camp: The last Colorado Rockies player not already in camp, Jonathan Herrera, reported today so spring has officially started, at least when it comes to baseball. Most interesting news of the past week or so was the Rockies agreeing to a minor-league deal with John Maine. The guy's coming off a shoulder injury so no one was exactly offering him the world, but several teams were interested in him, including a few that had more obvious openings in their starting rotation. Doesn't seem like Maine would have picked the Rockies if he wasn't given a strong indication that he had a chance to win a job in the rotation, which makes me wonder how safe Aaron Cook's job really is.

7 down, 3 to go: Watched The Kids are All Right last night bringing the Best Picture nominees we've seen to seven Still left on the list: The Fighter, Winter's Bone and 127 Hours.
